Recently I faced a very weird problem in my windows 8 OS. The internet is connected to the ISP (Internet Service Provider) all apps are working like I use Dropbox, Evernote, antivirus, but internet not working on any web browser. I am using the Windows 8 Professional software with latest updates. This is a crazy and rare error I found, Luckily I have a secondary system to search for a solution and finally after 30 minutes I found a solution.
So it’s the TCP/IP block in my system and it’s the reason I cannot able to surf the web in my browsers.
There are two ways you can do for this problem.
- You can use Command prompt and type following commands below.
netsh winshock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset.reset.log hit
Note: to use the above commands you should run the command prompt as administrator. If you don’t have the admin rights then, I have a solution for this as well, Follow the second method.
When you use the above commands, you may get an error like below
I faced that the error and the second solution will solve that.
- The second solutionsarethe easiest of all, even a computer beginner will do it. It’s by using a simple 200KB software to IPResetAll,
All you need to do is download the software from here
Download IPResetALL (Download link from Dropbox)
After downloading then unzip the software and then double click on the software and the software does the rest of the work. Here you don’t have to install the software anymore.
The IPReset is all done in a minute and your computer will be Restarted. So now you can happily browse the web in any web browser.
