Today, Windows 8 has been moved for manufacturing! Yeah, you heard it right… Microsoft has released the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) version of Windows 8 to TechNet and MSDN subscribers. Don’t wait, try the trial version now Download Windows 8 Enterprise Trial. Dear developers, start building and testing your Windows 8 final version. Hope it is bundled with all the features you were looking for and more. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available as ISO images. But the catch here is it cannot be upgraded.
Windows 8 Enterprise Installation
Windows 8 Trial Version cannot be installed on your current Windows edition. You will have uninstalled it and reinstall the trial version. Or you could install the trial version on a dedicated hard drive or partition or run it a virtual environment. This will allow you to upgrade your version to Windows 8.
Windows 8 Enterprise Activation
The activation of the product has to be done in 10 days from installation. To register you need to have a valid Microsoft account. Activation doesn’t require any product key so go ahead and try it if you have a Microsoft account. If you do not activate it within 10 days, Windows will get cruel and keep turning your system off every hour without saving your data; and a persistent desktop notification to indicate that your copy is not genuine.
This Evaluation pack will expire in 90 days and cannot be upgraded. So you will have to backup all your data before 90 days and uninstall this edition and re-install the original version when it is available. So hold it until October if you’re too lazy to keep uninstalling and reinstalling it. But you know it is totally worth it.
