Short User Name of your facebook Groups makes your Group Professional and people remember the Group Name better. Since when we create the facebook group the URL of the group is not customized and its hard to remember also , so we done lot of research for the facebook groups short name and finally got the solution for it. The following tutorial will tell you clear idea for getting short URL name for your facebook groups.

Tutorial

Log on to your facebook account.
Visit your facebook group.
For example my old facebook group URL is http://www.facebook.com/groups/211586055540465
In right side your group you can find an option called “Edit Group”. Click on it.

After Clicking on “Edit Group” you will find the place where you need to setup Group email .
Enter the Email Address for your Group

Now Finally click on “Save Changes” and Finally you have created Short name of your group
My group URL is Changed to http://www.facebook.com/groups/citybuzz/
Now change your facbeook group Short name now

Conclusion:

Making a Short Name for your facebook groups will be very easy to remember and people easily remind the group when they come back. Shorter name for facebook groups make the Group Professional.
