  • To create your first google alerts logon to http://www.google.com/alerts
  • you can create multi alerts .
  • For example , you love to know about the latest happening of  ”gtalk” , then  in the search terms add “gtalk”.
  • select the type will be Realtime, News, blogs, discussions,videos.
  • If you select “Everything” in the “type section” you get all information happening in the discussion, real time, videos, news , blogs
  • Select the volume, if you need best results, you can choose “Only the best resluts”
  • Then Final option Delivery Email id . you can add your email id , where you will get the updates


The smart way of Using Google Alerts is , you no need to hunt for information, The information will comes directly into your Inbox which saves you lot of time :)

  1. Yes, custom alerts are good to get specific information. But do not complete rely on this because it does not send most of the updates related to specific keywords.

  2. It’s really a good facility that google is providing us. But there is no surety of getting related updates for a specific niche. Video that you have added is really helpful.

  3. I agree,Google Alert realy is a clever way of getting the information come to you.I would always prefer to choose,however, the search for best results, because too many keywords in research can lead to confusing results and unrelevant data.
