how to backup and restore gmail contacts

Google mail is one of the widely used mailing services provide my google. So if the gmail email-id and contact details you added at your gmail account is very important. so you need to backup the gmail accounts by following the simple steps.

Tutorial-Backup  contacts

  • log on to your gmail account.
  • Put your account in standard mode.
  • Below the gmail logo click on the “contacts”
  • Then all contacts at your gmail is displayed.
  • select all contacts.

  • Then click on the Export .
  • The entire contacts will be backup in a file .

Restore Gmail contacts

  • log on to your gmail account.
  • Put your account in standard mode.
  • Below the gmail logo click on the “contacts”
  • Then all contacts at your gmail is displayed.
  • select all contacts.

  • Click on the import , to backup the gmail contacts from your computer.
  • Now all your contacts has been restored.

NOTE: If you have different accounts, you can use this method to add whole old contacts to your new gmail accounts. The process takes 2 minutes only. No need to add individual accounts. Be smart.
